Clipper Odyssey
EXPLORE EAST & WEST: on our selected voyages throughout 2008 & 2009
The 118-passenger 'Clipper Odyssey' provides superior on board comfort while sailing to remote and off-the-beaten-path destinations.
A fleet of on board Zodiac landing craft enables all passengers to explore and land anywhere nature or curiosity dictates, and a customized glass-bottomed excursion boat affords a magnificent glimpse of the underwater world. All of A&K's 'Odyssey' voyages are accompanied by destination experts and educators individually selected for each voyage, so that you know the stories behind all that you see. All staterooms have an ocean view, private well-appointed bathroom, sitting area with sofa, individual temperature controls, in-room music system and television. A passenger elevator allows easy access to all decks and passenger areas and an INMARSAT telecommunications system permits 24-hour email access. Public areas include a window-lined dining room featuring international cuisine, a lounge, library, gym, outdoor pool, hair salon and a well-stocked gift shop. An infirmary is staffed with an accredited physician on every voyage.
Intimate Luxury Cruise Ship Experience
Travel with Abercrombie & Kent and 'Clipper Odyssey' to exotic and unspoiled ports. Explore anywhere nature or curiosity dictates - to places often unreachable by larger cruise ships and land programs.
Unparalleled service
You don't have to "rough it" when you visit remote locations … at least not on board 'Clipper Odyssey.' Your attentive staff and crew service your needs in a way that can only be accomplished on a small luxury cruise ship.
Hands-on exploration
Some people are content to watch the world scroll past from the rail of a luxury cruise ship's promenade deck. On 'Clipper Odyssey,' you can participate hands-on in the exciting world around you, venturing up close to wildlife and experiencing native cultures firsthand.
Fine Dining and Entertainment
The luxury cruise ship's executive chef and team prepare imaginative menus, and meals are served at one unassigned dinner seating and with all soft drinks, juices, coffee, bottled water, bar drinks and house wines included in the cruise price, you can experience a sophisticated dining pleasure.
Enrichment lectures
A&K's 'Clipper Odyssey' expedition team conducts stimulating and entertaining presentations and lectures during each voyage, planned around the daily expedition schedule. Topics include marine biology, cultural history, geology and ornithology. Hand-selected to complement each destination's specific attractions, seasoned experts on these subjects sail on every voyage.
